In Loving Memory of Henry Lee Smith, Jr.

January 6, 1982 - July 22, 2018

Henry Lee Smith Jr. was born January 6, 1982, to the proud parents of Mr. Henry Lee Smith Sr. and Ms. Janae Lyn Caldwell.

Henry was best known as "Lil Henry" or "Lil WeeWee". He accepted Christ and was baptized at a very early age. Lil Henry was trained in the church under the leadership of Bro. Maurice Williams.

Henry attended Pat-Nixon Elementary School, Tetzlatt Middle School, he then graduated and received his high school diploma from Tracy High School in Cerritos, CA.

Henry was truly a hard-working young man. He worked several jobs, security, accounting, and previously held a position as a self-employed mechanic.

Lil Henry had many hobbies that interested him, he played little league baseball and continued playing baseball until his junior years. At the age of 13, he had the passion for dirt bikes and mini bikes. As life continued his passion and love grew for quads and motorcycles, anything with a motor, he loved. He enjoyed working on cars, he did everything from changing the oil to installing engines, fixing tires, and installing music; he even painted his own car at the age of 19 with spray paint.

Some of the things he loved the most was being with his family. He would share those times fishing, going to the drive-in, going to the beach and of course riding his dirt bikes, quads, and motorcycle.

Lil Henry was truly a good example as a son, grandson, husband, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Whenever you needed advice he was the person to go to, and if you had questions and he didn"t have the answer, his response was "Google It" or "Oh Boy."

In April 2003 he met his soul mate, Ms. Briana Mackon Williams, one day he was leaving his family members house in Carson and as he was driving down the street, his long hair blowing in the wind, he caught the eye of Ms Briana, as she sat in her yard and said "Hey where did he come from? I never saw him around here before," and from that point on their passion and love pierced their hearts and they were united together. In 2008 they were married, and she then became Mrs. Briana and to that union, 3 beautiful children were born.

Those who preceded Henry in death were his grandparents: Sidney and Mildred Smith, Roosevelt and Rissie Caldwell, and Velvria Taylor, 3 uncles: Tony Smith, Hurr Smith, and Jushua Caldwell; 4 aunts: Anna Mae, Johnnie Mae, Kimberly Smith and Velma Player.

He leaves to mourn, his wife Mrs. Briana Smith, 3 children: Brinay Smith, Henry Lee Smith III, Kanoa Lee Smith; a niece who was raised as a daughter Day"Janae Smith, his parents Henry Sr. and Janae Smith, a sister, Mildred Smith, mother-in-law, Carol Williams, godsister, Scherrique Neil, brother-in-law, Tramayne Wright, 6 aunts: Paulette, Cora (Terry), Helen (Ronnie), Mary, Norvilla and Ardella (Sean); 5 uncles: Benny, Larry, Hudson, Roosevelt, and Koryel, 3 close friends: Rodney aka "Double R," Keith and Jerome Moss Jr. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
